Marketing Director

We are a very controversial adult media company that produces gay adult content for worldwide distribution. We are located in San Francisco with additional offices in New York, London, and Mexico City. We are looking for an in-house marketing director to enhance, organize, manage, and operate the culture we support while building our audience, brand, and visual experience. This position is also responsible for elevating the customer experience through both traditional (telecommunication, email, and written correspondence) and non-traditional (community engagement, social media and live support) methodologies. Basically we need a leader who can develop and run our marketing department. 



Job Duties:
-Oversee our Affiliate Program
-Capture new markets
-Brand Management 
-Creating long term growth
-Develop Marketing Strategies custom to our audience.
-Manage and Organize Assets to be used for marketing campaigns. 
-Monitor and learn the latest content trends and report back to our producers.
-Oversee our Customer Experience and Support Team
-Builds strong relationships within the industry, including immediate business partners, to ensure strategic alignment, achievement of business objectives, marketing message consistency, and adherence to brand "guardrails"
-Monitor and Manage trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy to ensure the company is utilizing the best tools to promote its content and engage its customers. 
-Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising marketing and social media campaigns as well as the companies approach to the customer experience. 
-Creates and inspirers media interest in the company and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests. 
-Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly
-Manages companies promotional calendar, assets, and launch materials
-Advocates for company in online spaces, including social media, blogs and forums through engaging dialogue. 
-Oversee Advertising, e-mail marketing, PR, Partnerships, Social Media, Event Marketing, and Public Events. 


Requirements: 
-Marketing Management Skills 
-Must have experience and understanding of several various Content Management Systems 
-Affiliate knowledge or experience 
-Basic understanding of SEO principals
-Experience with web & mobile campaign trafficking - rich media, custom ads, standard display, and re-directs
-Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (CS6)
-Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written
-Techniques and understanding of Google Analytics
-Advanced understanding of web design, layout and aesthetic
-Innovative thinker, self motivated, and highly organized
-Brand Management 
-Social Media guru and Hootsuite 
-Strong copywriting and editorial skills
-A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Communications
-3-5 years work experience 

Not required but Beneficial: 
-Experience in the Adult Industry.
-Experience with NATS, MPA3, or other Affiliate software used in the adult industry.
-Web development experience
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Windows and Mac environments
-Proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop
-Asana

-Deadline oriented and multitasking, in a fast paced environment
-Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
-Attention to detail - A MUST!!! (We take great pride in this)
-Excellent time management skills
